Shoneys Family Restraurant in Franklin

Very clean, food is great and so is service. Everyone is very friendly.

I have food allergies, so eating out is difficult, especially on vacation. My waitress went over and above to make sure that what I ate was safe and that I had plenty (family had the buffet/not many choices for me). Staff in general were friendly and gracious. Buffet was well attended and family enjoyed their selections. Place was also clean. Great experience!

There isn’t even ketchup or anything and you know how much it cost for 6 people? $111 DOLLARS OH heck no This restaurant is way overpriced!The chicken was really dry without any taste or flavor.And there wasn’t even a lot of choices DO NOT GO HEREI LUV FOOD BUT NOT THIS FOOD

Salad bar was good. Well stocked and fresh. Menu order was not so good. Ground round was over cooked and dry. Try serving a grave or aj us with this dish. (From Nashville, TN)

Good food. The waitresses are polite but don't expect to get a refill the waitress I had neglected to give me a refill and neglected to give the table next to me a refill . She (the waitress) decided it would be a good idea to stand a socialize with people she knew for 10-15 minutes at a time.

Clean and good service. Our booth was comfortable. Buffet had both breakfast and lunch still on it when we came in--bonus!

They have good food but they shouldn't put the lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles on the bottom of the hamburger patty.

Buffet was great except the spoiled pineapple.

A tasty stop for breakfast buffet this morning! Well seasoned foods and COVID-19 compliant service. We were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the meal! Dining room was clean and comfortable.

Service was good. I was NOT impressed by our server, Jacklyn. She was rude and acted like she didn't want to be there. I go to pay, and she snatched the ticket from my hand as well as MY card. Very unprofessional. Might I add she took out an additional $10 for her "tip". I look at my online statement and found out the additional tip was taken out when I went to get gas before I went to work.

The service was good and the only reason it gets one star. Nasty food for breakfast. Eggs cooked on one side and I ordered scrambled eggs. The breakfast potatoes were not edible at all. Not edible and my fork had dried egg on it! I don't know why it has good reviews as breakfast should be easy. Talk about catching COVID even though they require face masks, wearing gloves if you eat the buffet, and hand sanitizer. What about food left on the silverware? Do not recommend and will not be back.

The buffet won't let you down after some time hiking up in the mountains.

Reminded me of Freshman year of HS. As freshmen, we played on Sat mornings. After games we would go to Shoney's Big Boy for the breakfast buffet. This was pretty Spot-on! Thanks for the memories

Pretty good Thanksgiving food. Fried Chicken wasn't very good, think changed breading from last year. But way to crowded had to wait forever to get food!

Just not that good. I went for a specifically advertised taco bar, and it was a specific disappointment. The breakfast bar is better, but nothing to special.Sunday is scary busy, but that is common around here. I wish they still had the pie selection of the past, but that isn't this location's fault.

you dont see shoneys as much as you use to so we stopped an got breakfast but we got out food an the rule is if your at the buffet line to wear a mask well some people wernt an the employees looking rite at them but the breaking point was when someone ducked under the sneeze shield reached in the back an got whatever he was reaching for face about 2 inches from the food on the line that day

Always fast, friendly service and great comfort food. Hot buffet available for all 3 meals. Great place for holiday meals such as Thanksgiving and Christmas which is very hard to come by!

It was great. The only problem I had was a woman not respecting social distancing.

Not only was the food delicious but the management and staff is wonderful. I was heading home to Florida and we stopped in to grab lunch. I left my wallet and the wonderful staff found it, put in their safe, and then mailed it back to me! I could not be more grateful!

Cannot go wrong with their salad and hot bar. Great food delicious fried chicken. Service needs some work though.

Diner beware. Asked waitress how much food bar was, she told us a wrong price. Asked for diet drink with no ice, got diet drink with ice. Asked for water with lemon, got no lemon. When checking out, was charged more for food bar than waitress quoted us. I asked for itemized bill, but refused to give me one. What does this tell you? VERY unhappy with this dining experience!! Feel as customers that we were not valued.

The food and selection is great. Our waitress was perfectly wonderful. She kept our drinks full and kept checking on me as my sugar was low when I first got to the restaurant. Very nice young lady.

Horable don’t go there the chicken wasn’t cooked. Their was hardly any food on the bar.

Fantastic breakfast. Fresh food and a wide variety. I had sausage and eggs, biscuit and gravy. It was delicious. They had a nice selection of fruit as well. We will definitely go back

It was good, was seafood night and was yummy! I had fried clams and shrimp popcorn my son had coconut shrimp, my step mom had a little of everything 😁.... Service was very good and we got dessert to go (I LOVE their fudge cake, it has vanilla ice cream in the middle yum!).. they were real good at keeping the buffet bar filled...😁

The service was amazing. Food was good but over priced for lunch buffet for 2 people to eat some chicken and mashed potatoes and salad and few things $33.00 really I could have eaten something really good. Just over priced food

I have at this Shoney's for many years. Shoney's of Franklin has always been a clean and well kept restaurant. The staff has always great. The buffet bars are always well stocked and kept very clean. Shoney's has a salad, breakfast, lunch or dinner, and a fruit bar. The food is great and you have lots of choices and free refills. Thanks Shoney's for a great place to dine at.

Buffet made me sick. Stare at walls for hours sick. I have been to 2 other buffets in NC and none of them did this.

BREAKFAST BAR is why we come! Always good!

The buffet bar was small and not many options!! Sadly we had to keep checking for meat or potatoes for the children, and the salad bar tasted weird

Oh how I miss shoneys!! The breakfast buffet added ten pounds to my waist line but so worth it!! I wish we had one closer to home I would live there ;)

Had the best waitress there tonight.. kept the drinks filled. Burgers were good. A little dry..

To be perfectly honest, I used the parking lot to get some work finished one day. I didn't realize that any Shoney's existed anymore. I awarded 5 stars for the delightful surprise, due to fond childhood memories of dining at Shoney's. The breakfast bar was a fave, as I could (and did!) start with a plate piled high with nothing except bacon!

Drove two hours to get to shoneys. Don’t get me wrong we were out for a road trip as well. Bar had very little on it. Ranch was watered down to the point where it was dripping off of the plate. Chicken was very under cooked. It was still very pink and no where near the 165 degrees it should have been. Notified our waitress. No apology, no offer to refund our money. Manager came out and offered more chicken and said she was taking the drinks off, however, our ticket when we went to pay was the same as before. 10 out of 10 do NOT recommend. We spent 40.00 there and ended up stopping for dinner after crossing back into Georgia. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

We were traveling Christmas Day from Mississippi and of course food options were very limited. I'm so glad we found the Shoneys in Franklin. Our waitress Hannah was amazing. She went out of her way to help us! It was crazy busy, but service was great & food was very good.

Horrible food and way over priced. This was the worst Thanksgiving dinner I've ever had in my life. No stuffing, one dessert on the entire buffet, and the meats were cheap and disgusting. Our waitress was attentive though. I almost died when I got my $76 bill for 4. Never again.
